Why doesn't the app show the weather where I am?

Sunny & Misty needs location access to show your current location. Open the app's Settings and tap Location to allow it, or add your city by name instead.

When do notifications arrive?

The app sends a weather update for your selected city at 9 AM, 1 PM and 7 PM. To turn them on or off, open the app's Settings and tap Notifications.

How is the best walk time chosen?

Sunny looks through the hourly forecast for the next daylight hour that's dry, comfortable and not so hot that the pavement would burn paws, today or tomorrow. If you don't have a dog, you can hide the card in Settings.

Why does the app say it's offline?

Misty knocked the Wi-Fi off the shelf. The app couldn't reach the weather service, so it shows the last forecast it saved. Check your connection and refresh.

How do I switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit?

Open Settings and choose your units, or leave it on System default to follow your phone's settings.

Where does the weather come from?

Current conditions come from OpenWeather, forecasts from Open-Meteo and the radar from RainViewer.

What data does the app collect?

Very little, and nothing that identifies you. See the privacy policy for the details.
